See that nurse advocating for others... yes, that’s me! But it wasn’t always this way.
For years, I lived in survival mode, working long shifts, giving everything to my patients, and leaving nothing for myself. I thought that being a good nurse meant sacrificing my own well-being. What I didn’t realize was that burnout doesn’t make you a better nurse—it breaks you down.
It took walking through my own professional challenges to learn that protecting your career starts with protecting you. Now, I use my 24 years of experience as a critical care nurse, former board investigator, and legal nurse to teach other nurses how to stay empowered, confident, and legally protected in their practice.
Today, I help nurses like you learn to chart smarter, advocate stronger, and safeguard the license you worked so hard to earn—because you deserve a career that supports you, not one that drains you.

Building a strong nursing career should never come at the cost of your well-being.
I believe nurses deserve the same care and protection they give to others every day. For too long, many of us have been taught to just “push through,” even when we’re exhausted or unsure how to protect ourselves professionally. But true success in nursing isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing it smarter, safer, and with confidence.
We are dedicated to creating a safe space where nurses can grow personally and professionally. Through honest conversations, practical tools, and ongoing support, we help nurses find clarity, confidence, and community in a field that often feels isolating. Because your career should sustain you, not drain you.
Advocates For Nurses is committed to providing education, advocacy, and support to nurses at every stage of their careers. By fostering a community built on knowledge and unity, we aim to address systemic challenges in healthcare and empower nurses to reclaim and strengthen their profession.
